Due to the increasing fame of the game of poker through the past few years, the World Series of Poker has gained an enormous name for itself as has the huge prize pools, televised tournaments and identifiable pros. Today it has become very difficult to even go to a store that you don't see poker paraphernalia. Examples of these are shirts and caps, cards and chips, not to mention coffee mugs – and all of them are brightly adorned with poker logos.
The World Series of Blackjack, all this time, has been sitting back in the wings, quietly and patiently awaiting its chance to shine. The World Series of Poker is a yearly event that brings together some of the brightest talents and sharpest minds to can be found in the world of gaming. They need not wait any longer- their time has come.
For any of you that may have played at a blackjack tournament, it is certainly clear that it takes much more to succeed than to simply have the ability to count to twenty-one. Players spend years honing their skills, practicing the game, mastering betting techniques and learning strategy.
