He's Only Going To Play One And But Someone Will Be Walking 1800 Miles To Las Vegas For Blackjack

In a self-filmed documentary that is designed to raise money for himself and others, Louisville native Brendan Kelly, 33, will be walking the 1800 miles from his Kentucky home on a three month trek that will bring him to Las Vegas and the Blackjack tables. Once there, he plans to play one hand of Blackjack for the sum of $250,000. He has calculated that his trip will encompass 3,250,000 steps, each of which he is selling off at the rate of $1 a piece. He is doing this over his website paymetowalk.com.  With the sum of $3.25 million, along with any possible winnings to be accumulated by his dramatic one hand venture, he will dedicate $1.25 million of the money to worthy charities such as Make a Wish Foundation and Habitat for Humanity.
The whole experience is to be filmed and some of the money collected will be use to create a documentary of his trip.
Kelly says that the idea came to him when he read about someone who sold off pixels on his website and made a million doing so.
Since he was struggling with some financial problems he decided that this project could solve those and still leave him with funds to give away.
